With Spyder you can create millions of pixels of background “canvas” allowing you to “paint” live multi format sources be it DVI, HDSDI, analog or composite at resolutions up to 2048x1200 onto single or multiple displays. This means live camera feeds computer graphics and prerecorded video media can all be introduced on screen simultaneously providing a mixture of digital and analog windows displayed over a high resolution background source or digital still. The layout of these sources can be manipulated live or handled in a scripted environment to react with certain cues in the program. News stories can fly on and off screen, multiple off site guests can be windowed onto a single screen via prerecorded media or satellite feeds and studio logos and graphics can be combined with aforementioned sources across single or multiple displays. Spyder has a full compliment of effects to be employed as you size, merge and transition sources including borders, shadows, mixers and morphs, cloning and linear keying.
