February 10, 2006 - Bon Jovi has sold over 120 million albums worldwide, performed more than 2,600 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 34 million fans since the band formed in 1983. While various artists have used HD playbacks, Bon Jovi is believed to be the first to carry an HD camera and playback system with them for the length of their "Have a Nice Day" tour. To keep the audience's attention, Bon Jovi used a custom-built 40-foot wide Saco V9 HD LED video wall as a backdrop. Three Spyder 353 units were implemented to create six full-resolution HD screen spaces and manipulate 15 layers of 1080i HD video.
March 28, 2006 – Autosport International is an annual event motor show for automotive industry professionals, held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Its latest audited attendance of 77,130 included over 4,000 overseas visitors. Spyder was used to control the visuals in Hall Five at the NEC on a single Unitek V9 LED video wall measuring more than 105 square yards. Pre-recorded footage, dynamic backgrounds, and live camera capture was fed to Spyder, which layered the material on the giant LED video wall. Both the Spyder and the screen performed faultlessly at every show.
December 10, 2006 – Deutsche Telekom is the largest telecommunications company in Germany and in the European Union. When they wanted to redesign their headquarters in Bonn, Germany with the highest-end LED video wall equipment on the market, they turned to Vista Systems to help make the magic happen. A Mitsubishi LED video wall with a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 and a size of approximately 18x10 feet was set up in the lobby. The Spyder 344 was chosen because its wide range of features permits versatile displays on the cutting-edge LED screen.
December 4, 2008 – The Primetime Emmy Awards are presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in recognition of excellence in American primetime television programming. The prestigious TV awards gala is hosted at the NOKIA Theatre located in the L.A. Live entertainment complex. For the 2008 show, a total of 15 HD images flanked the theatre – five images were projected, four were LED video wall displays and 6 were plasma flat-panel displays. Christie projectors and Vista Spyder video processors were chosen for visual support because of their power, brilliance, clarity and high image quality.
